Certified Stenographic Reporter

We’re looking for experienced, certified Stenographic Court Reporters to join our fast-moving marketplace team as independent contractors. Responsibilties

  • Capture and deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts of depositions, examinations under oath, and other legal proceedings.
  • Use CAT software to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts to the highest standards.
  • Manage proceedings with professionalism, ensuring accuracy, decorum, and adherence to procedural rules in your jurisdiction.
  • Work closely with our operations team for scheduling, setup, and technical support before, during, and after proceedings.
  • Submit completed transcripts within appropriate turnaround time and invoices for prompt payment.

Responsibilities

  • Current certification(s) for court reporting in your jurisdiction.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate transcripts on deadline.
  • Expertise with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse, etc.) and related digital tools.
  • Professionalism and a client-service mindset when working with attorneys, witnesses, and clients.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.
