This role reports directly to the QA Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and other domain teams to deeply understand features, improve product quality, and shorten release time from dev to production.
  • Assume ownership of the development and implantation of test plans/strategies that are inclusive of design and execution of both Manual & Automated test cases
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to uncover software defects and ensure optimal performance
  • Coordinating and driving E2E testing with cross-domains
  • Track and document defects from discovery to resolution
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work proactively to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Create and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test cases.

Knowledge and Skills

  • 3-5 years working as an automated test engineer desired
  • Proficient knowledge of an object oriented language such as C# or Java
  • Complete understanding of application development life cycle
  • Proficient knowledge of QA Testing Techniques & STLC
  • Proficient understanding of source control systems (GitLab) and CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)
  • Proficient understanding of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver and/or, Cypress
  • Proficient understanding of testing REST APIs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in testing mobile web applications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience with 3+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance in a product development environment
