Our speakers have put a ton of time, effort, and thought into today's presentation, and we are so thrilled that you've decided to take time out of your busy days to join us. We know you put a lot of time and effort, and we look forward to hearing your insights. Today's agenda is exciting and jam packed. First, we'll hear a brief overview and history of FileVine. I'm sure many of you, have not heard of FileVine before. Some of you may have, but we're excited to discuss with you a little bit about who is FileVine. From there, we'll go into FileVine's compliance, ethics, and security, very important items that we're excited to discuss with you. We'll then get into our unique partnership model with you, as Washington State court reporters, and we're excited to answer all of your questions. A couple of housekeeping items. This is being recorded, and the recording will be sent out to all registrants in a couple of business days. We're also excited to engage with you. We know that many of you have questions, and we're excited to answer as many as we possibly can within within the time frame we have today. So submit all of your questions in the q and a Zoom feature. There's a q and a box at the bottom of Zoom. Submit all of your questions. We have a team participating and on standby to not only answer those questions via type as, in real time as you submit those, but we also have a couple of minutes at the very end where we'll try to answer those live. So we'll get to as many of your of your questions as we possibly can. Please submit those. We know that for many of you, this is new. You don't know FileVine, and we wanna make sure that you have a lot of comfort going into what this partnership model looks like. At the end of this webinar, you'll also see a QR code. That QR code, you'll be able to submit your contact information and our team will reach out if you're interested in exploring a partnership with FileVine. And we hope all of you are. We're excited about this. We're thrilled at the prospect of partnering with you and we can't wait to get started. So first, a little bit about FileVine. We believe that court reporters are a critical component of the justice system. Without you and your work, we would not have the great system that we have today And we can't wait to share a little bit about who is FileVine and why this is so important to us. FileVine is a company that was founded in twenty fourteen. We launched in twenty fifteen, and since that time, we have grown quite consistently. We have over six thousand customers today all over the place. And those aren't users. Those are actually firms, over six thousand firms. We have just over one hundred thousand users that depend on FileVine execute their crucial legal work every single day. Our users use the system about a hundred times a day, and we have seven hundred employees, half of which are located out of our headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. We also have offices in Chicago and New York City as well as around the world. We are a company that is dedicated to making sure that our customers can deliver justice for their clients. We care about this deeply. And in as much, we have built a business that is squarely focused on human professionals that make up our legal system. And of those professionals, we count you, certified sonographers, as some of the very most important parts of this system. It is now my pleasure to turn the time over to Tyler Dever, who will now walk through FileVine's regulatory compliance and security efforts. Tyler? Thanks, Eric. As Eric kindly introduced, I am Tyler Dever, Biovine's associate general counsel. As a former big law litigator with over ten years of commercial litigation experience, I regularly used and relied on certified court reporters in depositions, hearings, and trials. FileVine implements internal controls and review processes designed to align with state specific and federal jurisdictional requirements and to ensure that FileVine's business practices and court reporter transcripts meet individual and state specific standards. At FileVine, we don't we do not solely rely on our internal team to ensure we're complying with these ethical and legal considerations, But we hired an independent ethicist to issue formal opinions about our products and services, and we retained the law firm Buck Alter to conduct a thorough review of civil procedure and court reporting rules for all fifty states and the District of Columbia, and it prepared for us fifty one individualized memos for these respective locales. We also conduct ongoing monitoring for policy and regulation updates to ensure our policies and procedures remain current with existing laws. Next slide, please. As I tried to emphasize with the last slide, preservation and integrity of the record is of utmost importance to FileVine. In addition to our legal and procedural compliance, FileVine's platform is built to meet the highest security standards. FileVine hosts or stores all data on its own secure servers, which regularly undergo system and organization control two or SOC two audits. This type of audit is an independent assessment of how a techno technology company manages and protects their customer data. FileVine's secure platform also complies with HIPAA regulations and safeguards, ensuring that transcripts and customer information are maintained within these requirements. And as of October first twenty twenty five, FileVine's products and services are low authorized on the FedRAMP marketplace, which is important for our government customers and means that FileVine has met the US federal government's standardized security requirements for cloud products and services. With that, I will pass it on to Lindsey Stoker. Thank you, Tyler. Hi, everyone. I'm Lindsay Stoker. I'm FileVine's registered court reporter in charge in California. My I'm a California CSR, and my Washington CCR number is two five zero three six one four four. And I hold the National Court Reporters Association registered diplomat reporter, registered merit reporter, certified real time reporter, and certified real time captioner certifications. And over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of building a career in court reporting and captioning that's taken me across many facets of our profession from captioning for every major technology vendor at their events to covering secret federal grand jury proceedings to covering some of the most high profile civil cases in recent history and even the Oscars, I've been so fortunate to work in some incredible environments that showcase the skill and value of what we do. I've also spent many years involved in service to the profession, volunteering on a number of NCRA committees, including being appointed to the strong committee, the skills test committee, and their certified real time captioning committee, which I had the honor of chairing. I've spoken countless times at state and national conventions, sat on panels, taught workshops, and written countless articles on excellence in court reporting and captioning. In short, my record and passion has been in defending and uplifting reporter excellence and the integrity of the record, and I was selected and hired to carry on that work at FileVine. So I understand that some might ask, why would someone so invested in steno work with FileVine? And it's a fair question. Go to the next slide. And the answer is because I know the value of what we do, and I've joined a team that sees that value as well. And I'm here to be part of something that ref respects reporters and the record itself, and I'm not doing that alone. FileVine's approach was to start by hiring two working certified court reporters, including Dora Enriquez and me, to build strategy with them. And everything that we do, as Tyler reiterated, is built with state compliance and integrity at the forefront. Next slide. And at FileVine, we recognize that certified court reporters are the quiet center of gravity in every deposition. A skilled stenographer can literally change the trajectory of a case by capturing key elements, and attorneys rely on those reporters as their insurance policy for the record. And Depositions by FileVine was built from that reality to support attorneys and reporters and their human expertise that makes up the record. And as mentioned, I work alongside Dora, whom you will meet momentarily, who is an official for many years, and she is just as committed to protecting the integrity of the record and shaping how our products are used. And I'm so excited for what you'll hear from her about how we're placing reporters front and center in terms of respecting for the in terms of respect for the record, leading market compensation, and faster payment turnaround time. And we believe that our approach in investing in reporters is the most viable path to keeping industries our industry strong, and we have a real opportunity to shape what comes next together. I'll pass it to Dora. Oh, Dora, you're muted. Thank you, Lindsay. Let me try that again. Second time's the charm. Okay. Thank you, Lindsay. Good morning, everyone. My name is Dora Enriquez, California CSR number one two two one zero, and I'm proud to bring twenty six years of experience to the conversation having worked as a deposition reporter and official for LA Superior Court. I have personally seen how much our profession has changed. Our court reporting evolution over time has been extraordinary from carbon paper to now having our advanced CAT software, along with welcoming voice writers and working with modern technology that enable us to have remote depositions. So let's get into the heart of the conversation. Why should Washington certified court reporters work with FileVine? Three reasons. First, support. FileVine provides a rapid response operations team that's always ready to help and resolve any issue quickly. Second, collaboration. Lindsay and I bring nearly fifty years of combined CSR experience to the table. We put ourselves in your shoes because we've been there, and we are confident in working with FileVine and believe you should too. Third, compensation. In Washington, being a CCR isn't just a title. It's the gold standard. We believe your compensation should reflect your expertise. FileVine ensures you are paid what your credentials are worth. So on the next slide, I will talk about our rate sheet. So FileVine is proud to introduce our twenty twenty six Washington proposed rate sheet. We've made this rate sheet in collaboration with other Washington CCRs to ensure it's competitive with market rates and appealing to you. FileVine's proposed rates are effective from now through the end of twenty twenty six. You'll be able to scan the QR code, download the rate sheet, and sign up to begin the onboarding process at the end of the webinar. You will also have the opportunity to submit your own rate sheet. So on the next slide, I'm going to delve into what sets FileVine apart from the big box agencies. So let's talk about the advantages of Filevine, our rates. Our model allows us to pay you more than the big box agencies. Filevine makes little to no margin on transcript and copy order, primarily making our margin off of our legal case management software. Payment. When accepting our proposed rates, we pay court reporters within three to five business days of transcript delivery and invoicing. Bonus. Pays the law firm referral bonus to CCRs. Customer base. FileVine has a network of over six thousand law firms nationwide growing every day. And lastly, copies. Parties can order directly through you. So, again, to quickly summarize, FileVine offers competitive rates, three to five business days payment turnaround, and a reliable partnership that grows with your career. So now I'm gonna pass it back to Eric. Thank you, Dora. Appreciate it. And now we will jump to our q and a. So please, if you do have any questions about what was presented today and partnering with FileVine, submit those questions. We have a team standing by ready to go ahead and answer those. And and, again, you just go down to the Zoom feature. There's a q and a box that may be in a menu somewhere at the bottom of your Zoom. Go ahead and submit your questions there. Here's the QR code. So please scan the QR code, enter in your contact information, and then one of our team will reach out to you and we'll continue to explore the possibility of partnering together. We're really excited about doing this in the state of Washington. Again, you can feel how important this is. We recognize that for our current and potential clients in the future, how important CSRs are to the record and to this work, and we're very excited to possibly work with every single one of you. So submit your contact information, and one of our team will go ahead and reach out. Now we'll go ahead and keep up this QR code as we dive into a couple of questions, as we conclude today's webinar. So first question, we have one here, is how do you schedule reporters? I think that's a great one. We've gotten that one a lot, and I will turn that over to either Dora or, or Lindsey or or maybe Marissa from our team to go ahead and answer that question. So how do you schedule reporters? Who would like to take that one? Sure. So I can jump on and comment on that. We work with a software, that reporters may be familiar with already. It's called ReporterBase nine or RB nine, and that's where you reporters can log in. You can see any, upcoming depositions you might have, transcript, due dates, and links to join jobs. Awesome. Easy enough. Yeah. Great. So let's go ahead and, let's let's do another question here. How will FileVine continue gathering input from stenographers as it builds new tools? Now, maybe we can also have Lindsay share some insights on that question. Before we do, I will say to the group, again, just to call out at the bottom of the slide you see in front of you, if you do have additional questions, maybe you don't wanna scan the code QR code just yet, although we invite you and encourage you to do so. You can also use that email courtreportersfilevine dot com, and one of our team will definitely, answer any question or engage with you via email if you would like. So again, Lindsay, do you have any thoughts on how will FileVine continue gathering input from stenographers as it builds new tools? Yeah. So first of all, FileVine hired two stenographers, as mentioned, two working stenographers, Dora and I, to work, with the team. And we are both from California, so heavily, stenography and and voice reporting focused states. And we, it it just, emphasizes, FileVine's engagement and their continuing efforts with the, court reporting community to learn about things from our perspective and collaborate and build tools that, make our work easier, make our lives easier. So just keep an eye on the job postings, and we may be hiring more full time stenographers soon in steno and voice focused states. Perfect. Thank you, Lindsay. And let's see. It looks like we have maybe one more or or a couple more might be coming in. And, again, please go ahead and submit any questions you have. Let let's let's do this one. I can only do remote remote proceedings. Does FileVine offer remote proceedings in this partnership model? And I don't know if, Marissa, you wanna come off mute and and answer that question in terms of doing remote proceedings? Absolutely. Go ahead. Go ahead. Oh, yeah. Sure. Just introduce myself quickly, and then I'll hand it over to you, Dory. Hi. Hi. Hi, everyone. I am Marissa. I oversee our core reporter operations here. So if you have questions specifically about how we operate, I am happy to answer those quickly. Yes. We do do remote proceedings. And our form that you'll fill out here, you can choose to say, I could only do remote. I could only do in person. It is totally up to you. We're not going to ask you to work a job that you're not able to work or comfortable to work. So that's kind of the point of this form here so we can gather also the types of depositions that you're interested in. Dora, if you want to expand on any of that, I'll hand it back over to you. That's exactly what I was gonna say. You have the option. We work with your schedule. So if you're only remote only, that's great. If you prefer to be in person, that's great. If you prefer to do both, then that's great. So we have the option for you to do either one of those three. And we're not just recruiting in Washington. When you fill up the form, indicate any state that you are certified in, because we are a nationwide firm, and we'd love to be in contact with you. We'd love your help. That's important. Thank you, Lindsey, Dora, and Marissa. Next question. If a Washington court reporter transcribes a deposition in Washington for a file line customer, does each transcript certificate identify the actual reporter of record? Would like to take that one? So I'm I'm happy to speak to that. Yes. The your transcript is going to include your certificate that you sign and certify. And, presumably, it would identify you as the actual reporter of record. And in every file by notice, we do, disclose that they are stenographically taken in Washington. Thank you, Lindsay. Question. Yeah. Okay. Maybe we have time for one or two more. I I may have a law firm I work with that is interested. How does the referral program work or the referral work? Who would like to take that question? I have some comments and thoughts on that one, but and and Marissa, you wanna go ahead and take a stab first? Sure. Yeah. I can start. So logistically, if you have a law firm that may be interested in working with FileVine, please feel free to email us at court reporters at file vine dot com, that email that you see right there. And we can do a live handoff via email to our sales team so we can get you on record for sending that law firm our way. And at the same time, also, please send us your information because we'd also love to work with you. Eric, if you want to add anything to that. Please. If the most important thing that you get from Marissa's comment about that referral program, make sure to send an email so we have a record and paper trail that this firm is coming from you and that you actually referred them. If you guide them to the FileMine website, although that's great, we will not know that that particular firm is coming from you as a referral. So send us a quick email. Say, hey. I just referred this firm. Or better yet, I referred this firm. And when can we set up an introductory call to explore? You're welcome to be included as the referring partner in that discussion as well, and and we're happy to keep you a part of that entire sales cycle and keep you in the loop and involved. But but we have to know that that firm that's interested is coming from you. So please don't just send them to the website. Send us an email so we know that that referral is in fact coming from you. And that would be greatly appreciated. We have a wonderful program, and we're excited to work with you on that. Okay. We have one last, one last question. I have a I have a specific question about this program or about FileVine. Who can I reach out to with questions? Dora, you wanna go ahead and share some thoughts on that? Yes. I just wanna say we have you could see on the slide courtreportersfilevine dot com. That is our, court reporter's inbox email. So we answer those questions, as soon as they come in. And we would like to let you know that if you also want to set up and talk with us, we also have the option to meet with us one on one. So it's not just the webinar. If you have a little bit more questions, a one on one with us, So that is also an option for you. Thank you, Dora. And with that, we will go ahead and end today's webinar. Thank you for joining. Thank you to each of our presenters for all of the thoughts and insights. We're very excited to partner with each of you. We think this could be a wonderful relationship for a very long time. Scan the QR code or submit an email and one of our wonderful team will reach out and we can dive deeper in discussions. With that being said, we will go ahead and end today's webinar. The recording will be sent out in a couple of business days. Thank you everyone for joining. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
