IT Security Support Analyst

Filevine is a fast-growing software startup that is currently looking to hire a Help Desk Support Representative. The individual that is chosen to join our team here will be a part of an exciting environment with plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Logging and processing support requests, including tech support, security, and facilities requests
  • Installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
  • Setting up accounts and equipment for new employees
  • Developing and maintaining IT and Security documentation
  • Maintaining inventories of hardware and software
  • Monitoring computer networks for security issues
  • Investigating security breaches and other cyber security incidents
  • Installing security measures and operate software to protect systems, networks, and information infrastructure
  • Documenting security breaches and assess the damage they cause
  • Working with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
  • Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
  • Staying up-to-date on information technology trends, news, and security standards.
  • Managing building and equipment, such as coordinating with contractors/installers, deliveries, and furniture assembly/repair
  • Maintaining facility security systems, including doors, locks, key inventory and distribution, surveillance, etc.
  • Responding to urgent maintenance calls
  • Preparing for emergencies by creating building evacuation and other action plans
  • Testing building security systems and promoting safety within the building
  • Documenting processes and keeping maintenance records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the information technology or information security
  • Experience working with computer and networking equipment
  • Experience working with enterprise software such as email, productivity, and
  • Experience with security hardware, such as firewalls and camera systems, and software such as SIEM and anti-virus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and assist users in one-on-one and group settings
  • Attitude of ownership and proaction, willingness to jump in to help in any situation
