Overview:
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager over Customer Communications and Upsell will execute campaigns to the Filevine customer base to deliver product-specific communications, drive adoption and product usage, and encourage product upsells.  This position has a strong growth marketing component and will work closely with other Demand and Product Marketing team members to develop and refine strategic communications and report on outcomes. 

Reports to: Sr. Director, Demand


What you will do:
- Own the multi-channel customer communication calendar and serve as writer or editor for all customer emails and in-app content
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop the lifecycle messaging strategy Develop and implement targeted campaigns to increase product usage and customer satisfaction
- Create customer communications and upsell campaigns around new products and features, announcements, and updates
- Support customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, customer user groups, annual conferences, awards programs, and ongoing customer nurture campaigns
- Develop, execute, and report on product upsell campaigns targeting current customers
- Meet or exceed aggressive product upsell growth targets on a quarterly basis
- Maintain documentation of projects in progress and keep stakeholders informed
- Stay up to date on product developments to help inform communication strategy
- Organize upsell campaign assets and own upsell campaign communication with stakeholders from a variety of teams: Sales, SDRs, Operations, Marketing, CFL

  • Content Creation - Ability to produce engaging content across formats like blogs, emails, infographics, videos, pop-ups, and more.
  • Collaboration - Aptitude for collaborating cross-functionally with sales, customer service, product teams, and marketing partners.
  • Project Management - Effectiveness at developing project plans, managing budgets, timelines, and team workload.
  • Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal skills for presenting to stakeholders and leading teams.
  • Copywriting - Ability to write compelling, creative, and grammatically correct email content.
  • Automation - Experience setting up and leveraging marketing automation to create workflows and personalized journeys.
  • Analytics - Proficiency in using data to identify trends, optimize programs, and demonstrate email & in-app marketing ROI.

Requirements:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience managing communications through Pendo (or AppCues, WalkMe, LeanPlum, or Braze)
  • 2+ years of experience running direct-response email marketing campaigns
